August, and everything after: Back to School!

You may not 'officially' be going back to school, or perhaps you are getting ready to start a new semester, but that doesn't mean you aren't in the perfect position to get something new for your wardrobe!

One of our favorite things, growing up, was shopping for new school supplies and clothing. There is nothing better than busting out your best new clothes to start a school year off in the right direction! Even if you are not setting foot in a classroom this month, it doesn't mean you can't start a new 'school year' in your office.

Here are some helpful tips to add a little pizzaz to an office wardrobe without breaking the bank:

• purchase a few new scarves. Lightweight scarves can easily be tied around your neck, left loose around your jacket lapel, or even tied, as a headband, in your hair. This is a simple way to add a little color to an often drab office.

• Get a few signature jewelry pieces. Nothing like bumping up your fun factor with a brightly colored necklace or a few new cocktail rings. Find a favorite piece of jewelry and make it your signature.

• Add a little whimsy with a new laptop or tablet case! Not all your office items need to be serious! Have a little fun and introduce a little school girl charm with a case or carrier that would be totally different than black or plain brown leather.

Retro Review: Lime Crime Velvetines

This is a liquid matte lipstick that if you haven't tried, you need too. Not only is Lime Crime Vegan and Cruelty Free, it is also an amazing product.

This Suedeberry shade is a vibrant orange toned red, but if you prefer a darker more classic red then you may want to try the Red Velvet shade. This is a very wet product, so you have a few minutes to play with this before it drys and sets. I find this works the best when you apply a very thin coat, because it sets quicker, is less likely to smudge, and it is super pigmented so you don't really need a thick coat. This surprisingly does glide over dry patches, and doesn't cling to dry patches on your lips
